Read through all the instructions first before starting this craft.
Plan your design straight onto the template using a pencil.
Stick tiles down using your glue in your desired pattern, cutting your tiles to the right size using a glass tile cutter. Leave the glue to dry for at least 4 hours.
Add water to your grout powder in small amounts at a time. Your grout needs to be the consistancy of a loose paste, not runny or not stiff.
Apply the ready mixed grout liberaly all over the mirror tiles and making sure you cover all the mirror tiles and being careful not to get any grout on the unmosaicked part of the wooden template.
Let to set for roughly 10min.
Tip If you are in a hurry, as I am ALMOST ALWAYS, get your hair blow dryer out, it will help you save at least HALF the drying time. It is noisy but you'll be smiling in just minutes!
Wipe away all excess grout using a damp cloth or sponge. I prefer a cloth because sponges sometimes gets left behind and does not look nice.
Keep soaking the cloth so that it is clean, and wipe away more of the excess grout.
NOTE: We are not scrubbing it clean, we are just gently wiping the excess grout away.
Leave to dry again for a couple hours or preferably over night.
Clean up the open exposed wood by sanding it with a fine piece of sand paper, making sure it is nice and smooth.
Paint a white base onto the template using PVA paint and allow to dry. Then paint with your desired colour and allow to dry.
Stick your glass nuggets down with PVA glue.
