What you need to make rectangular gift box:
- Red card A4 size
- Scissors
- Water based glue
- Pattern of the box
- Raffia or ribbon
Read through all the instructions first before starting this craft.
Step 1
After you have printed out the box pattern, cut it out. On the semi-circles you need to gently run your knife over the line to score it. This will make folding it much easier, but be careful not to cut all the way through the card.
Step 2
Gently fold all the bits along the lines, making sure you keep on the lines.
Step 3
Glue the flap on the outside and when you fold up your box, tuck it into the box so it sticks to the inside.
Step 4
Leave the box for a while to allow the glue to dry properly before handling it again.
Step 5
Once dry, put a gift inside the box and tie a length of raffia or ribbon arund the box, finishing it off with a bow and a handmade gift tag.
