Read through all the instructions first before starting to clean your keyboard.
Unplug your keyboard, turn it over and remove all the screws with a star screwdriver.
Turn it over and open it up.
TIP:While you are taking it apart, take note how it needs to be put back together again.
Take out the touch pad and clear plastic circuitry.
Once you have removed the big circuit boards, remove the small one that the cord is attached to.
Wash the keyboard under water and scrub with a brush, if necessary.
Wash the bubble-like contact pad under water, too, if necessary.
Using a damp cloth you can wipe down the three layers of circuit, but don't rub too hard or scrub.
Leave all the parts to dry overnight to make extra sure they are dry before putting it all back together again!
