Rocking Horse

This is a fun, easy papercraft for children from the age 6+. If you are doing it for younger kids they may need help with the tracing.

What you will need:

  • Koki marker pens or crayons
  • Paper or cardboard
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Paper clip

Read through all the instructions first before starting this paper craft. Make sure you have everyting you will need at hand and your working area is clean and tidy. Cover your surface with plastic or brown paper.

Step 1

Draw or trace template of the rocking horse onto your cardboard or paper.

Cut out the rocker and the horse using a scissors.

Step 3

Colour the horse and the rocker with your koki marker pens or crayons.

Step 4

Fold the rocker in half along the dotted line.

Step 5

Attach the horse to the rocker with your paperclip.

Step 6

Fold the legs outward so that it will stand on its own. If you move the paperclip toward the head your horse will kick up its heels, if you move the paperclip toward the tail it will kick up its front legs more.
