Canvas Painting Team Building Experience
Canvas painting is one of Crafty Corner’s most popular and rewarding team building experiences. This immersive, two-hour creative session invites participants to connect, create, and collaborate in a relaxed and uplifting environment.
With our structured yet supportive facilitation style, we consistently witness individuals who believe they “can’t paint” discovering their creative confidence. Starting with a blank canvas, teams are gently guided toward producing meaningful, high-quality artwork—often exceeding their own expectations.
Painting reconnects people with their inner child, encourages mindfulness, and offers one of the most calming and revitalising team building experiences available.
Crafty Corner offers two distinct canvas painting team building formats to suit your objectives:
1. Picasso Canvas Painting – “The Big Picture”
This collaborative experience is designed to build unity, communication, and shared purpose.
Also known as “The Big Picture”, this format brings your entire team together to create one large artwork composed of individual canvases. Prior to your event, Crafty Corner works closely with you to design an image based on your team’s vision, values, theme, or company mission.
On the day:
- Your team will be guided through transferring the design onto their canvases
- Facilitators support colour matching, composition, and creative confidence
- Resistance gives way to excitement as the artwork takes shape
- The final masterpiece becomes a lasting display piece for your workplace
The experience powerfully mirrors teamwork—each individual contributes their part to create something far greater than the sum of its pieces.

2. Individual “Make & Take” Canvas Painting
This experience focuses on personal creativity, individual expression, and confidence-building within a team environment.
Each participant receives their own canvas and is free to interpret the session in their own way. Crafty Corner facilitators guide:
- The creative process from concept to completion
- Colour selection and blending techniques
- Individual artistic confidence and expression
Participants leave with a completed artwork and a strong sense of personal achievement—an experience that often carries through into greater confidence and motivation in the workplace.
Cost: R350 per person, minimum of 10 people.**
