What you need to make a chain bracelet:

  • Pliers
  • Side-cutters
  • 18cm length of chain
  • Toggle clasp
  • Headpins
  • A selection of beads

Read through all the instructions first before starting this craft.

Plain design

Step 2

Place a headpin at the centre of your chain, you will attach your centre bead on this link.

Step 3

Thread your centre bead onto one of your headpins.

Step 4

Make a hook at the top of the bead on the headpin.

Step 5

Close the hook, around the center link on your chain.

Step 6

Repeat steps 2- 5 until you are satisfied with the look of the beads on your chain. Your bracelet starts to form.

Step 7

Open the last link on your chain, and attach the round part of your toggle clasp to it, close the link again.

Step 8

Open the last link on the other side of your chain, and attach the tubular part of your toggle clasp to it.

Step 9

Your bracelet is complete. You can try it on, and remove it then add more beads until you are satisfied with your design.
