Read through all the instructions first before starting this craft.
Plan your design on a flat surface, to ensure that your beads do not roll away.
Burn the tip of your elastic, this makes it easier to thread the elastic through your beads and sliders. The length of your elastic depends on the measurements of the wrist you are making the watchstrap for, remember to cut double that length, since this is a double stranded strap.
Thread your elastic through the one end of your watch face, so that there is a double thread of equal length.
Thread your beads and sliders in the order that you have placed them on your flat surface.
This is what it should look like.
Attach the other two loose ends to the watch face by threading one end through first, then hold it down so that you can thread through the other piece of elastic.
Tie a double knot to keep the elastic in place, make sure that the watchstrap is secure around your wrist and easy to slide on and off before you tie your knots.
Cut off the long ends.
Burn the frayed bits off the ends of the elastic.
Add a blob of your jeweler or craft glue to prevent the knot from coming loose or scratching you when you wear your watch.
Now you can wear your watch and go out in style without a hole in your pocket.
