Pellet Candles

What you will need to make a pellet candle:
- Wax Pellets
- Wax Wick
- Candle Fragrance Oil
- Sustainers
- Glass Container for the candle
- Container with lid for mixing
- Powdered Candle Dye
- Pliers
- Scissors
Read through all the instructions first before starting this craft. Make sure you have all required items on hand.
Step 1
Pour the wax pellets into the container that you are going to use for the candle so you can measure how much you need. Now place the wax pellets in your mixing container, add a little more for spillage.
Step 2
Using the tip of the toothpick, pick up a small amount of powdered candle dye.
Step 3
Place the small amount of powdered candle dye in the container with the wax pellets.
Step 4
Put the lid on the container making sure that it is sealed properly.
Step 5
Shake vigorously for a while to mix the powdered candle dye into the wax pellets. Ensure that the powdered candle dye mixes evenly.
Step 6
Place 5 drops of the candle fragrance oil into the container with the pellets.
Step 7
Place the lid on the container again and shake vigorously for a while to mix the oil into the wax with the dye.
Step 8
You will need to prime the wick.

Step 9
Thread the candle wick through the sustainer and tighten with pliers, crimp just the very top of the sustainer or it will bend the base.
Sep 10
Place the candle wick in the container with a little Prestik underneath to keep it in place.
Step 11
Pour the wax pellets into the container.
Fun Note:
You can make multi coloured layers for your candle!
