- Heart Shape Template

Read through all the instructions first before making your Valentine card.
Step 1
Cut your plain cardstock measuring 23 X 17cm and fold in half. This is your card.

Step2
Now you are going to cut your plain or patterned paper measuring 8.5 X 16.5 cm. Note! If you want the edges white you can 1. Lightly sand the edges OR 2. Use white paint. You will need a thin dry paint brush and you will then dry brush the edges. Use a scrap piece of paper to try this on first.

Step 3
Now you are going to insert the brads into you piece of paper measuring 8.5 X 16 cm. They will go into the top right and bottom right had corners

Step 4
You are now going to stick the 8.5 X 16.5cm piece of paper onto the front of the card, on the left hand side. Now put the card one side.

Step 5
You are now going to do the large heart. You will now need a heart template to make the large heart. I used a heart from a mini chipboard album and covered it. If you dont have a heart template you can draw your own heart or go to Google and search for heart templates.

Tape your wire down

Step 6
Now you are going to use your wire and wrap it around the heart. Whilst you are doing this you will need letter beads to thread through. I used BE ME VALENTINE, but this is up to you.

Step 7
Once you have wrapped the wire and done the beads. You will then use ribbon to tie your charms onto the wire. When this is done put one side.

Step 8
You are now going to use the dark brown Fluid Chalk Inkpad to colour your hearts.

Step 9
Now stick down the 2 small chipboard hearts. Top left and bottom left hand corners.

Step 10
Now you can stick down the large paper heart in the centre of the card and you are done! Happy Valentines Day!
